STARLUX, Alaska Airlines Launch Codeshare Partnership

DALLAS — Taiwan-based luxury carrier STARLUX Airlines (JX) today announced the launch of its first codeshare agreement, partnering with Alaska Airlines (AS) to enhance its network in North America.

The codeshare flights will initially include eight domestic routes, including Salt Lake City, San Diego, Phoenix, Portland, Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, and Austin—all to Seattle on AS metal. Customers can now book a single ticket from any of JX's eight cities and connecting flights from Seattle to Taipei, making check-in and luggage transfer faster and easier.

STARLUX Airlines operates 31 routes, providing a comprehensive network across Asia as well as three key cities on the US' West Coast: Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. The Los Angeles route will be increased from daily to ten flights per week beginning December 22, while the Seattle route will be expanded from three to daily flights beginning March 1 of next year.
