DALLAS – jetBlue (B6) has launched daily service between New York’s JFK Airport and Tulum’s Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tulum International Airport (TQO).
jetBlue is the only airline offering direct flights from JFK to TQO, its third destination in Mexico, alongside Cancun and Los Cabos. The service uses Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring spacious seating, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary snacks.
Flight Schedule:
- JFK to TQO (Flight #2879): 8:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
- TQO to JFK (Flight #2880): 12:45 p.m. – 5:49 p.m.
This expansion enhances travel options to the Mexican Caribbean, connecting passengers to Tulum’s resorts, archaeological sites, and natural attractions. JetBlue now serves 40 international destinations.
Mexican Connections
David Jehn, jetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships, said via a B6 press release, “jetBlue began service to Mexico more than 17 years ago with flights from New York to Cancun and we’re proud to expand our footprint in Mexico.” The airline offers flights to Cancun from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Newark and Raleigh/Durham.
Additionally, B6 recently announced that it will launch nonstop service from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Cancun In Mexico, B6 also provides service to Los Cabos, offering flights from JFK and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
