JetBlue to Serve Long Island MacArthur Airport

DALLAS — JetBlue Airways (B6) cements its hometown footprint by announcing its inaugural service from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), with tickets available for purchase today.

Beginning in October, B6 will offer flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), aiming to provide loyal Long Island customers with more convenient travel options to popular Florida destinations.

JetBlue says its expansion to Long Island highlights its 24-year commitment to improving connectivity for New Yorkers. This new service will enhance the carrier's presence in the New York Metro area, supplementing its existing operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

Exploring Airline History Volume I

David H. Stringer, the History Editor for AIRWAYS Magazine, has chronicled the story of the commercial aviation industry with his airline history articles that have appeared in AIRWAYS over two decades. Here, for the first time, is a compilation of those articles.
