DALLAS — Frontier Airlines (F9) will launch services on 14 new routes this spring. The Denver-based (DEN) carrier will commence several new services to US and Caribbean destinations in May.
Firstly, the ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) will begin services between Boise Airport (BOI) and Denver (DEN) on May 15. These will be operated three times a week. The airline will also offer three weekly flights between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Cleveland (CLE) from May 22.
In addition, starting May 23, the carrier will operate three weekly services between Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Cleveland (CLE). It will also offer two new routes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS): one to Miami (MIA) and the other to Philadelphia (PHL).
The ULCC will launch flights between DEN and Spokane (GEG) on May 20. This will also be operated three times a week. New services from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to Tucson, Arizona (TUS) are also launching. These will also be three times each week.
A new daily service will connect Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Chicago (ORD) and Philadelphia (PHL). Frontier will also start flying from PHL to Austin (AUS) and LAX. Furthermore, the ULCC will operate flights from Norfolk International Airport (ORF) to Dallas-Fort Worth twice weekly.
Heading to the Caribbean
Frontier will offer various new connections across the Caribbean and the United States. The airline will begin operating new services between Washington Dulles (IAD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Miami (MIA), and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU). The airline will also offer new services from SJU to IAD thrice weekly. On May 24, Frontier will begin weekly flights between Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) and MIA.
The Miami Herald also reports that F9 has also made a return to Antigua and Barbuda - with the launch of nonstop flights from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) to V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU), Antigua. The route operates weekly.
