DALLAS It has become a usual event to see Emirates (EK) special liveries on their Airbus A380 planes. The UAE flag carrier uses the largest passenger plane in the world as the biggest flying canvas to promote its partnerships with sponsors and more.

This time, the airline selected one of its double-deckers for a different yet very special purpose. On August 31, 2024, EK presented a new livery dedicated to its humanitarian foundation, which helps to improve the lives of millions of children around the world.

The airframe, registered as A6-EEP, debuted in the special colors on the regular service between Dubai (DXB) and Milan (MXP) as flight EK91, landing in Italy at 8:00 P.M. local time. This scheme's most unique feature is the engine's bright orange color and the quote “Help to support children in need” at the back section of the fuselage.

The Emirates Airline Foundation

The Emirates Airline Foundation executed 50 humanitarian projects in 12 countries, including improving clean water, healthcare, and education infrastructure. With this new scheme, the organization is celebrating 20 years of existence.

Upon arrival at Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP), our Director of Photography in Europe, Lorenzo Giacobbo, captured the moment of A6-EEP's touchdown during the public unveiling of these colors.
