DALLAS — Embraer will highlight its cutting-edge aircraft and aviation solutions at the inaugural Bali International Airshow, which will take place from September 18 to 21 at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).
Embraer, which has a notable presence in Indonesia through its partnership with PT Wira Jasa Angkasa (WJA), will focus on its E2 family of narrow-body jets during the show.
We've covered plenty the E190-E2 and E195-E2, which seat 114 and 146 passengers, respectively. These aircraft the quietest and most fuel-efficient single-aisle jets in production. They have more than six hours of flying endurance, which gives airlines the flexibility to connect new city pairs across the region.
Speaking of the E2 jet's prowess, Scoot (TR), a Singapore Airlines (SQ) subsidiary, will launch flights between Singapore and Kertajati International Airport (KJT) on September 28, 2024, using Embraer’s E190-E2 aircraft.
The Bali International Airshow
The Bali International Airshow is a pivotal platform, bringing together industry stakeholders to drive aerospace advancements across Southeast Asia and Indonesia.
As the region’s premier aerospace, agrotechnology, and defense airshow, it aims to position Indonesia as an essential player in the regional aerospace industry. Embraer will present offerings from its commercial aviation, defense, and executive jet portfolios, reinforcing its role as a leader in innovation.
The event is hosted by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and supported by various governmental bodies.
The airshow, which spans 78,000 square meters, includes a static aircraft display area of over 70,000 square meters and an 8,000-square-meter exhibition hall. Over 100 companies will participate, and over 100 delegations from 35 countries will be welcomed this coming Wednesday.
