DALLAS — Discover Airlines (4Y) is expanding its long-haul services and launching new flights to Minneapolis, Minnesota, starting in May 2025. This exciting addition to their North American network will provide travelers with more options and convenience.
From Frankfurt, Germany, 4Y will be flying to Minneapolis four times a week, offering a convenient nine-hour flight time. This new route complements their existing destinations in the Midwest, including Philadelphia, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Calgary, Halifax, and Anchorage.
Travelers can expect an enhanced and varied long-haul service from Frankfurt and Munich next summer. 4Y will be serving a total of 17 long-haul destinations with over 70 weekly connections.
The Lufthansa Group subsidiary leisure airline in Germany, continues to focus on popular African and Caribbean destinations. Southern and eastern Africa remains a focus, with flights to Mauritius, Windhoek, Victoria Falls, Mombasa, Zanzibar, and Kilimanjaro. Punta Cana and Cancún in the Caribbean will also be served twice a week from Frankfurt in the summer, expanding beyond the winter season.
In addition, 4Y will launch long-haul flights from Munich in summer 2025. Two Airbus A330s will be stationed at Germany’s second-largest hub, providing direct flights to Orlando (from March 3), Windhoek (from April 1), and Calgary (from April 12).
These new destinations have never been accessible by direct flight from Munich or were last accessible many years ago, further expanding 4Y’s presence as the largest holiday airline in Munich. All flights depart from Terminal 2.
