DHL, Central Airlines to Form a Strategic Partnership

DALLAS — DHL Express (D0) has signed a Letter of Intent with Central Airlines (I9) to improve its logistical capabilities in China significantly.

This deal seeks to deploy two of DHL's Boeing 777 freighters through I9, marking the first collaboration between DHL Express and a local Chinese cargo airline.

This agreement is essential to DHL Express's goal of strengthening its presence and operating efficiency in China. This country is a manufacturing powerhouse and a major global market.

The two Boeing 777 freighters, painted in a combination of D0 and I9 liveries, will increase the logistics company's capacity on critical intercontinental routes, helping to meet the growing demand for cross-border e-commerce and efficient supply chains.
