DALLAS — Delta Air Lines (DL) and SAS Scandinavian Airlines System (SK), the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, have signed a codeshare agreement effective September 25, 2024.
SAS joined SkyTeam on September 1, coinciding with this arrangement. Passengers traveling between North America and Scandinavia will have more possibilities to connect thanks to the codeshare arrangement, which also offers reciprocal codeshare and frequent flyer perks like the accumulation and redemption of SAS EuroBonus or SkyMiles points on both carriers.
Customers from both airlines will have more options for travel inside their networks in North America and Europe. Beyond SK's hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm, DL customers traveling from North America will now have extra access to 50 locations in Northern Europe.
Meanwhile, SK consumers may travel to over 150 locations across North America through the hubs of DL located in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle.
