DALLAS – Azores Airlines (S4) will operate seasonal flights connecting Boston (BOS) and Terceira (TER) in the Azores.
The airline will launch this seasonal route on October 29 and continue it through March 25 next year.
Flights to Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) will operate out of Lajes Airport (TER), which not only serves Terceira but is also a hub providing international access to the Azores.
According to data provided by airline analytics platform Cirium, S4 will operate one weekly rotation on this route, using an Airbus A321 aircraft seating 186 passengers.
Flight Schedule
From Boston: S4 272, operating on Mondays, departs BOS at 21:15 local time and arrives in TER at 06:10 the following day, local time. The flight has a block time of 4 hours and 55 minutes.
From Terceira: S4 279, operating on Tuesdays, departs TER at 17:55 local time and arrives in BOS at 21:05 the same day, local time. The flight has a block time of 6 hours and 10 minutes.
Azores Airlines, previously known as SATA Internacional, is a Portuguese airline based in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel in the Azores archipelago. The airline operates a regional network, connecting the archipelago intercontinental from its hub at João Paulo II Airport (PDL).
The carrier operates scheduled domestic flights from the Azores to the Madeira Islands and mainland Portugal, international flights from the Azores to destinations in Africa, Europe, and North America, and charter flights.
