DALLAS — Allegiant Travel Company announced preliminary passenger traffic results for January 2025, highlighting steady growth in key performance metrics for its scheduled services compared to January 2024.

Departures increased by 9.2%, while the average stage length increased by 2.1%. However, the load factor dropped slightly by 1.9 points to 78.8%. Similar upward trends were observed for its total system, which combines scheduled services and fixed-fee contracts.
Passengers rose by 6.5%, available seat miles by 10%, and departures by 10%. The estimated average fuel cost was also reported at $2.66 per gallon.
From Las Vegas, Allegiant Air (G4) connects to 20 small-to-medium cities to top vacation destinations with competitive nonstop fares. The airline's business model prioritizes secondary airports in small-to-medium cities, such as Rockford (RFD), Fresno (FAT), and Appleton/Green Bay (ATW), which often lack direct connections to major leisure destinations.
By avoiding congested primary hubs, the airline reduces operational costs and offers faster turnaround times.
