Airline On-Time Performance June 2024 Report

DALLAS — In June 2024, airline on-time performance varied across different global regions, with standout performers emerging in Latin America, the Middle East & Africa, Europe, North America, and the Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) sector.

The comprehensive analysis by Cirium highlighted key metrics such as on-time arrivals, departures, and completion factors.

Saudia (SV) led globally with 88.22% on-time arrivals, 87.13% on-time departures, and a 99.85% completion factor (16,133 flights).

Aeromexico (AM) followed with 86.18% on-time arrivals and a 99.34% completion factor (16,844 flights), while LATAM Airlines (LA) secured the third spot with 85.83% on-time arrivals and a 95.81% completion factor (45,101 flights).

June 2024 Results by Region

  • In Latin America, Gol (G3) topped the charts with 90.53% on-time arrivals, followed by Caribbean Airlines (BW) and Aeromexico (AM).
  • In the Middle East & Africa, Safair (FA) achieved the highest on-time arrival rate at 90.53%, with Oman Air (WY) and Kuwait Airways (KU) also performing well.
  • Europe's top performers included Icelandair (FI), Iberia Express (I2), and Iberia (IB), each boasting on-time arrival rates exceeding 98%.
  • North America's best were Delta Air Lines (DL), Alaska Airlines (AS), and United Airlines (UA), though overall regional performance was slightly lower at 73.15%.
  • Among LCCs, Gol (G3) again led, followed by Thai AirAsia (FD) and Peach Aviation (MM).

Notably, G3 demonstrated consistent excellence across multiple categories, while I2 and IB showcased remarkable operational efficiency in Europe.
