DALLAS — Air India (AI) and Kenya Airways (KQ) have signed a codeshare agreement, enhancing seamless travel between India, Africa, and beyond. This partnership builds on their existing interline agreement, expanding passenger passengers' travel options.
The collaboration allows travelers to book a single ticket with a unified baggage policy, ensuring a hassle-free journey across both networks.
Under this agreement, the ‘AI’ code on KQ will designate twice-daily Mumbai-Nairobi flights, offering smooth onward connections to destinations like Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Malé, Melbourne, and Singapore.
Similarly, the ‘KQ’ will designate the AI Delhi-Nairobi route, facilitating better connectivity for African travelers heading to the South Asian country.
