DALLAS – Air Canada (AC) announced a new seasonal service from Montreal to Edinburgh today while increasing capacity on other key routes to Europe. The airline will introduce additional flights to Paris, Athens, and Rome, providing greater flexibility and connectivity for travelers during the peak summer season.
Air Canada will operate three times a week between Montreal (YUL) and Edinburgh (EDI). Flights will depart from Montreal on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while return flights from Edinburgh will take off on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The service will run from June 26 to September 7, 2025. The airline will use its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on these routes, which also feature a Premium Economy and an Economy cabin.
“Expanding our transatlantic network, we are pleased to add the only non-stop flights between Montreal and Edinburgh. The additional frequencies to Paris, Athens, and Rome will respond to solid demand that enables an improved service for leisure and business customers alike. More Routes to Popular European Markets
Paris:
- Three additional flights per week from Toronto, resulting in a total of 10 flights a week.
- Montreal will continue to operate 14 weekly flights to Paris.
Athens:
- Two additional weekly flights from Toronto, bringing the service up to 10 weekly flights.
- Extra frequencies will be added throughout October to meet continued travel demand.
- Montreal will maintain 10 weekly flights to Athens.
Rome:
- Four additional weekly flights from Toronto (peak-season service now extends to October).
- Toronto will have up to 12 flights weekly, while Montreal will have 9 weekly flights to the Italian capital.
